My actuator clicks during and after I turn off my Impala. I think it is draining the battery. The car jumps easy with portable charger. I drive for a while. Turn off the car. Go shopping then come back out and the car won't start. Then the clicking noise happens even then. I am so confused. My voltage on the battery is 12.4 and goes up to 14.3 when running. The alternator checks out fine too. Don't know what it is...frustrating. thank you for getting me closer to a solution!

I'm watching again and I want to say that's the work of a survivor. Meaning you used your friggin head. You know there's videos that have you do more or less then what you should do. I found that out when I seen people removing way too much to install a Mustang radio or replace a headlight! Thanks!

Carbon buildup on intake valves caused by condensing blowby gases via PCV is the plague of GDI engines (like Kia & Hyundai). If this works as claimed, it should prevent 95% of that buildup on a continual basis, rather than periodic service to remove it. Has ayone considered this?

I really enjoyed reading the comments because all the professional HVAC guys got triggered. If HVAC companies didn't charge $200/Hr for labor and mark up parts and refrigerant 3X, then people wouldn't try to DIY the fix. I DIY'd my own 24 year old R22 system. I got my EPA 608 Type 2 cert via SKillCat, bought 5 lbs of R22 for $219, a set of Yellow Jacket gauges for $150 and $10 bubble leak liquid. I was lucky and my leak was a bad Schrader valve which I replaced with a $25 core removal tool and new brass caps. I recharged using superheat since it is a piston system. Total cost was $450 and I have a set of tools to use when I eventually do a unit replacement.

I wanna fix mine but the idea of taking it apart scares me because what if I somehow mess something up trying to put it back together?

A more secure way to capture the nut you had the magnet on is to get a small piece oh insulation tape and put it on the inside of your socket then push it onto the nut/bolt you are undoing or fitting and it is a nice snug fit. Regards Chris

A word to the wise...after fighting with the "expendable crew member" for a day and a half, I came up with a brainstorm that maybe my tool was too big (no pun intended) because of this hose that's right next to it that prevented me from getting a 12mm deep well and 3/8 drive ratchet in there. So I ran to Napa and got me a 12mm 1/4" drive deep well socket along with a 3" and 6" extension just in case and with the help of my long handled 1/4" drive ratchet, I had it out in a matter of minutes

@3:30 (round things sitting on flat surfaces roll away) Put a 2" long piece of electrical tape around the middle of the rod (making a little tab on the side where the two ends of tape meet) will stop them from misbehaving.

A/c running. Motor runs most of the time but sometimes it doesn’t. But compressor will be. The evaporator then freezes up. At that point I turn off ac, I turn on manual fan and it won’t come on either. It seems after it sits, the ice thaws I can then press fan again it then works. At that point I turn ac back in and it works fine. Can’t find the rhyme or reason. The motor is maybe 2-3 years old, just replaced capacitor thinking it was the issue. But it continues to randomly not work. I’m Replacing thermostat cause it’s 24 years old. But a hvac guy told me if I hit box and blower starts then it was a certain thing but I can’t remember what he said. I went under house watched. The outdoor unit started but blower didn’t. I hit the box with my hand and it started blowing high speed.

PCV doesn't route exhaust to the intake, that's the PCV's job. The small amount of exhaust that gets passed the rings will go to the intake, but no catch can is going to change that, even this fancy one. Comparing one's achieved mileage to the EPA estimated mileage is useless in determining that this device is helping, you need your achieved MPG before and after installing it. I can't imagine how cleaning the PCV air increases MPG, I'd love to see actual evidence. Tracy's statement about 'normal' catch cans being no more than 15-20% effective is complete BS.
